After serving faithfully for many evolutionary years as a truck primarily meant for commercial or rural use, the extra-large Suburban has increasingly become
the go-to choice for families or those in need of class-leading passenger and cargo capacity.

Used Chevy Suburban
Used Suburban is more shapely and it has plenty of power and torque, along with an improved interior and new features.
It's built on a stronger, stiffer, fully boxed frame that enhances roadability and crash energy management.
Before buying a used Suburban you should know that it has huge fuel consumption those for sale tend to have oil consumption more than expected, and it is not exactly handy in crowded parking lots, its expensive to operate.

Story
The current-generation Chevrolet Suburban was fully redesigned for the 2007 model year. It rides on an updated chassis possessing all of its prior strength,
plus a more comfortable ride and improved overall agility, performance and efficiency. Two advanced V8 engines are available to handle just about any conceivable need,
and a full load of options allows one to add as much or as little luxury and capability as desired.
Safety advancements like front seat side-impact airbags, stability control and side curtain airbags for all three rows make the new Suburban safer than ever before.

Equipment
The 2008 Suburban is a 4-door, up to 9-passenger sport-utility, available in 18 trims, ranging from the LS 1500 2WD to the LT3 2500 4WD.
Safety equipment on all models includes dual frontal airbags, anti-lock disc brakes with electronic proportioning, and electronic stability with anti-rollover mitigation and traction control.
Full length airbag curtains are optional, but front side airbags are not available.
Interior
The low, curvaceous dash has chrome rings surrounded by flush-mounted buttons, and the seats have firm cushions.
The 2008 Suburban continues to offer seating for up to nine occupants across three rows of seats.
The Chevy Suburban can seat six to nine passengers. Our test model with the LT3 equipment group was equipped to carry seven,
with a 60/40 second-row seat for three, and a two-passenger third-row seat.
Many other SUVs can carry seven passengers without taking up so much space on the road,
but the passengers are cramped (and these SUVs can't ever carry nine). Our second row had the fold-and-tumble system with optional power
(one button on the dash, another on the C pillar to be used by the third-row passengers upon entering,
or for grabbing cargo through the rear doors), an option that saves a struggle.
First-row occupants gain 3 inches of lateral room, but headroom shrinks slightly in the second row.
Third-row passengers relinquish both headroom and legroom.

The Suburban is a workhorse. I tow a 30' Avion with very little effort.
I am amazed by the 2 swinging doors on the rear. Comfortable to ride in especially on freeways and intestates.
